Hello, families! My name is Ari (pronouns: he/they, auf Deutsch: er/keine), I'm 31 years old, and mid-February I'll be starting my second to last semester at a BAfEP to become a certified Elementary Pedagogue (Early Childhood Educator). Until then, I am looking for temporary babysitting opportunities (and maybe after February I can babysit ocassionally). As a neurodiverse individual, I have found that I work particularlly well with children who are also neurodiverse.
I started working as a babysitter when I was 10 years old and offered babysitting as a native English speaker when I first moved to Vienna in 2014 for a few years. I'm a CELTA-trained and certified English teacher and also have experience working in several schools, kindergartens, and Kindergruppen in Vienna. Ich spreche auch sehr gut Deutsch (Niveau C2) I enjoy hands-on, imaginative, and creative play and field trips to places like the aquarium, the zoo, and museums are also a favourite of mine. Of course, I always ask the kiddos what they have in mind, or suggest activities based on what I know they're interested in or have fun doing. I'm trained in voice as well as music and love playing the guitar for the kids and playing other instruments with them.
